Single,Double and triple rooms
May 25th - June 1st, 2019: traveling to Tuscany, to host a 60hrs Yin Yoga training in a small village, about an hour traveling from Florence. The first module of the beautiful teachings of Yin Yoga and I would love it if you would join me on this week. This training in Tuscany is for teachers and active yoga practitioners who have discovered Yin Yoga is a beautiful way to balance the body and mind, and is a big support next to the practice of the Vinyasa or other more active styles of yoga.
Spending 7 days in Tuscany is like a retreat: beautiful surroundings combined with some cultural exploring and organic home cooked meals with produce from the gardens (vegetarian, vegan is optional). We will be staying in an lovely rural house immersed in an olive grove and surrounded by oak trees, a large pool, outdoor yoga deck. The days will be filled with togetherness as a group, but there will be time for self exploring as needed. The group is going to be a maximum of 15 students, possibilities of single rooms, shared rooms and triple rooms.

All modules are Yoga Alliance accredited, upon completion you receive a 60-hour certification eligible to be registered with Yoga Alliance or a certificate of participation, which can later be changed in a certificate for Yoga Alliance.
Discover and learn
Yin Yoga is a slow paced and passive style of yoga practice where postures are practiced on the floor in a static way for an extended period of time ranging from two to five minutes. In this style we position our body in a particular pose and then let go of all muscular efforts and surrender it to the floor for gravity to do the work. By doing so we relax our muscles and apply moderate stress to the deepest layers of connective tissues of the body -tendons, fascia, and ligaments- improving the health and mobility of joints.
In this training, you will learn the concept of Yin and Yang, the difference between them, and how do they complement each other. You will learn how to practice and teach more than twenty main Yin Yoga postures with their modifications and variations. You will also study in depth the comparative and functional anatomy, difference in bones and the joint structures and how these differences affect the asana practice of each individual.

Venture away from the mat
We will have as well some quality time together, away from the yoga-mats, to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Maraviglia. A nature walk in the countryside near and around Maraviglia with our host, so do bring a pair of comfortable shoes!! A visit to the beautiful Chianti area, with the winery Badia a Coltibuono, set inside a 1000 year old Benedictine Abbey can be part of this trip and if the weather allows it, we will walk in the middle of the Chianti forest where there are some incredible hidden natural springs where we can swim… this is a special and very loved place.
